My Left Breast

"My Left Breast" by Suzie Miller is a poignant, funny, uplifting, and deeply personal one-woman show about breast cancer, loss, love, and motherhood. Through Esra's masterful performance, audiences are invited to explore themes of resilience and the human spirit. This production stands as a testament to the power of storytelling.

"As the curtain closes on this unforgettable production, it left an indelible mark on all who bore witness, reminding us of the transformative power of theatre to unite, inspire, and heal." The Citizen

This new production of My Left Breast offers a powerful interpretation of writer Susan Miller?s autobiographical script, which tells the story of her mastectomy and the impact of both her illness and the operation it precipitated on her life. Bruce Dennill

It?s a funny, rollicking and oft sensitive (and occasionally raw) foray into the complexities of treatment from chemotherapy to Tamoxifen, post mastectomy blues and clinically induced menopause and how they leave you feeling, in your body and also your soul. It?s about sexuality and a pink suitcase which contains an unfinished manuscript. It?s about being a daughter to parents who nourished their dreams, and it?s about children and their candour and how one?s circle of loved ones responds to the diagnosis of The Big C?, classically. Robyn Sasse
