The Rush esports event will host a range of competitive tournaments for casual gamers and esports fans to watch or participate in, as well as give visitors the opportunity to experience the thrilling world of competitive gaming live. If you’re a professional esports player, someone who just wants to have fun and see how good you are, or even a parent looking to find out more about your child’s gaming obsession, Rush will have something for you. So come and experience the energy and excitement of live esports first-hand!Tickets to Rush also include full access to all activities, displays and attractions happening at GeekFest!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION/FAQIs there an age restriction to attend Rush?All ages are welcome to spectate but please do note that some of the games that are on display may be age restricted and are not suitable for younger audiences. Some of the tournaments that will be hosted do carry an age restriction in order to participate/enter.
How do I enter a Rush gaming tournament?Registrations for tournaments to be hosted at Rush will open online on Friday 17 May. Links to register can be found on the Rush website under Tournaments.
What does my ticket include?Full access to all activities, displays and attractions at Rush and GeekFest.
Are tickets refundable?All tickets purchased are strictly non-refundable.
Do I need to purchase a ticket if I am competing in a gaming tournament?All players are required to purchase a Player Pass at a cost of R250 per person. This pass will give you full access for all three days to Rush and GeekFest.
Do I need to bring my own devices if I am competing in a gaming tournament?No, all gaming equipment will be supplied/sponsored. If you have any questions on this you can get in touch with the relevant Tournament Organiser.
Will there be prizes for competing in a gaming tournament?Yes. Prize information and details will be announced on the NAG website.
Do I need to be at the venue in order to compete in a gaming tournament?Yes. All players/teams are required to appear in person on one or all of the days. Competing online/remotely will not be allowed.
Will there be food and drink at the venue?There is food and drink available to purchase inside the venue from dedicated food stalls. There will also be food trucks and a craft beer garden at GeekFest.
