Terms and Conditions of Participation at the Potchefstroom Airshow be held between 10h00 and 15h00 at Potchefstroom Airport, Tigermoth Street, Potchefstroom,2520 .

By purchasing a ticket or tickets through Ticketpro, the Participant or any Ticket Holder,

1. Agrees and acknowledges that;
   1. in this document any gender includes the other genders.
   2. a natural person includes an artificial person and vice versa.
   3. the singular includes plural and vice versa.

2. Acknowledges the Definitions
   1. Participant means, the ticket purchaser or holder himself, his minor children (duly supervised), his heirs, executors or assigns, and the company, close corporation, trust, firm and voluntary organization which the ticket by his purchase decision warrants he is duly authorized to represent, and any employee of the above, their guests, their invitees or family, who are granted or given the additional tickets purchased by the participant.
   2. Ticket Holder means, the recipient of, a ticket from a Participant, another Ticket Holder or a complimentary ticket, his minor children (duly supervised), his heirs, executors or assigns, and the company, close corporation, trust, firm and voluntary organization which the ticket by the acceptance warrants he is duly authorized to represent, and any employee of the above, their guests, their invitees or family, who are granted or given additional tickets purchased by the Participant.

Airshow means the Special Air Event event made up of a number of aerial display acts to be held between 10h00 Potchefstroom Airport, Tigermoth Street, Potchefstroom,2520 on the 1th of June 2024

1. Organizers mean, the official Organiser of the Airshow as per the South African Civil Aviation Authority application including its staff, sub-contractors and suppliers, any officer or employee of the South African Civil Aviation Authority, any officer or member of Airshow South Africa, the Airshow Safety Officer, and air show officials, volunteers and paid employees together with the District Municipality and emergency services.
2. Participation means, attendance via ticket purchase, complimentary access of any nature, service, general support of the Airshow, any work done for and on behalf of the organizers, any business activity, any sales or promotions or advertisements, broadcasting, voluntary assistance at the air show, working for a reward, spectating, being present, taking part in or being at the air show.

3. Agrees to Voluntary Participation
   1. The Participant or Ticket Holder hereto agrees and acknowledges that they have chosen to take part in the Airshow activity being offered by the organizers, which participation is by their own free will.

4. Agrees to Indemnify and Forever Hold Harmless
   1. the Organizers, Marshalls, Flight Directors, Safety Officers, South African Civil Aviation Authority and Airshow South Africa, Sponsors, Exhibitors, and Vendors, against all and any loss or damage, injury or loss of life from any cause arising which he may sustain or suffer as a result of his participation in the Airshow.
   2. all and any loss or damage, liability and costs incurred arising from any act, neglect, omission or default of the Organizers, Marshalls, Flight Directors, Safety Officers, South African Civil Aviation Authority and Airshow South Africa, Sponsors, Exhibitors and Vendors, its agents, employees, licensees or customers and/or breach by the Organizers, Marshalls, Flight Directors, Safety Officers, South African Civil Aviation Authority and Airshow South Africa, Sponsors, Exhibitors and Vendors of its obligations in terms of any contract or agreement signed with the any organizational body in respect of the show.
   3. all costs, claims, damages, demands and expenses which they may be subject to as a result of cancellation, postponement, or partial opening of the show.

5. Irrevocably waives any claim of whatsoever nature arising from his participation in the event as a result of any act or omission whether amounting to gross or ordinarily negligence by the Organizers, Marshalls, Flight Directors, Safety Officers, South African Civil Aviation Authority and Airshow South Africa, Sponsors, Exhibitors and Vendors, its agents, employees, licensees or customers.

6. Warrants that
   1. He/she enters the venue to participate in the Airshow at his own risk and is responsible for the safety of his/her minor children who agree to the same.

7. Accepts that
   1. By purchasing a ticket online, at the entrance, or receiving a ticket from a Participant, you, the Participant or Ticket Holder confirm that you have read and understood the meaning and effect of this agreement and these terms and conditions and that you agree to be bound by it from the date of purchase or receipt until the closure of the Airshow
   2. By purchasing a ticket or receiving a ticket, you, the Participant or Ticket Holder confirm that you have read this agreement and understand all of its terms, and have executed this instrument voluntarily and with full knowledge of its significance.
