The Music Story

Kwathi ke kaloku ngantsomi?

the prologue of the musical story of violinist Neo Motsatse and baritone Luthando Madikizela can be traced back to the winter of '56 - 1656, naturally - in a city miles away from their own origin. With only their instruments and a plot to share, these dynamic artists have come together to spread the gift of time travel through the sound of music, promising to take us back, back, and further, serenading audience with pieces by Antonio Vivaldi, Franz Schubert, Jules Massenet, Aram Khachaturian, Astor Piazolla, Salvato Cardillo , CÚsar Franck, Joe Darion and Mitch Leigh, to mention such a few.

Inspired by the words of Louis Armstrong, Music is life itself, Luthando from Bizana shares the same sentiments as Sir Louis Armstrong, as he realized at a tender age that music is, indeed, life. For Neo, every piece is history.

Come watch and listen, for the tale can't finish until we know how it began? See you there!
