Nagara has been traditionally known as a percussion instrument used for its rhythmic sounds at festivities.

Flash Entertainers has distinguished itself by winning the coveted South African Traditional Music Award (SATMA) with a record breaking of six times. This year marks 57 years of Flash Entertainers music excellence, with performances across the country, Flash Entertainers strive to ensure the love for Nagara music lives on for generations to come.

Proudly promoting the Indian heritage and culture very widely not only in Johannesburg but through South Africa, Oriental Nagara & Chutney are the only chutney and nagara band based in Gauteng and have since built a huge fan base. Having performed at numerous successful events, Oriental Nagara & Chutney have become a household name.
