Durban's most loved stand-up comedian Carvin H Goldstone is back on stage in Johannesburg at the Theatre of Marcellus, Emperors Palace with his new one man show titled "My NewDebitOrder".

After going through a very difficult period of in vitro fertilisation or IVF to have his third child with his wife they welcomed a baby girl but the journey and cost of having having a baby made for a lot of pain and the pain made for a lot of comedy which Carvin unpacks in his new show.

After hitting the stage for the first time in a comedy competition in 2006 as an unknown Carvin set on a journey to become a South African comedian.

No one could predict how high Carvin would rise, becoming an internationally touring comedian, receiving the highest accolade in South African comedy after being namedSouth African Comedian Of The Yearin 2018 and winning theBest South African Comedy Showin 2020. Including 2023, Carvinhas been nominated four times for SA Comedy's top honour.

"My NewDebitOrder" performance explores the hilarities of being welcoming a new baby in your 40s, which he calls his newdebitorder, child birth, raising a teenager and new presidents in South Africa and the US.
