  • Animals other than guide dogs
  • Balls (soccer/rugby/etc), frisbees and similar items
  • Banners, flags expect if limited to 1.5 x 1.0m (wording to be tasteful, non-offensive, non-political, non-racial, non-discriminatory, non-sexual, non-advertising)
  • Old South African flag
  • Any signs or items with corporate branding (other than official sponsor/vendors)
  • Any mass branded clothing or items which constitute ambush marketing
  • Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, in-line skates, prams
  • Video cameras and non-accredited media equipment (except compact cameras with small built in flash)
  • Air horns, nuisance items/equipment, trumpets, musical instruments, lazers and lights (except plastic Vuvuzela)
  • Cans, glass bottles, hard/rigid containers (except small ladies perfumes and spectacle cases)
  • Mace, gas containers including but not limited to deodorant, cooking spray and paint
  • Chemicals and dry ice
  • TV's, radios, DVD/CD and tape players
