Nickelodeon’s NickFest Live comes to Jozi on 6th and 7th July 2019, in partnership with Glen21 Entertainment and Jacaranda FM.
Filled with SLIME, MUSIC and MAYHEM, join Nickelodeon for the biggest and slimiest event of the year! Packed full of top music acts, special guests, your favourite Nickelodeon stars and most importantly SLIME!

SLIME SEATS: These are prime seated located with a clear view of the stage and the SLIME PIT. Slime Seat ticket holders will be allowed access to the SLIME PIT.
BLEACHER SEAT TICKETS: These are seats with an elevated view of the stage and SLIME PIT.
PLATFORM SEAT TICKETS: These are seats with an elevated view of the stage and SLIME PIT seated in front on the bleacher seats.
PLATFORM RESTRICTED SEAT TICKETS: These are seats with a restricted view of the stage and SLIME PIT. They are located behind the Platform Seat Tickets.
HOW OLD DO YOU NEED TO BE TO ATTEND NICKFEST LIVE?
Anyone can come to NickFest, but please read through the following ticket restrictions;
WILL I GET SLIMED?
Slime Pit: High chance of being covered in SLIME.
Slime Seats: A SLIME-free zone. *
Bleacher Seats: A SLIME-free zone. *
Platform Seats: A SLIME-free zone. *
Platform Restricted Seats: A SLIME-free zone. *
*Please do be aware that regardless of where you are seated, all attendees may experience incidental brushes with SLIME as we will be releasing tonnes of the green goo and cannot guarantee where it will land!
CAN PARENTS OR GUARDIANS ACCESS THE SLIME PIT TOO?
No, the SLIME PIT is a parent and guardian free zone! Parents or guardians will be able to see the SLIME PIT area throughout the show, and meet their slimy children afterwards. Nickelodeon has an experienced team on the ground to ensure the safety of children in all areas at all times.
IF I REQUIRE DISABLED SEATING, WILL I BE ALLOWED INTO THE SLIME PIT?
A disabled platform will be available just outside the SLIME PIT. While we cannot allow access into the SLIME PIT, we will get you as close to the green goo action as possible.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Feel free to get creative with what you wear as NickFest Live is a show all about children having the fun and the SLIME of their lives! If you are thinking about wearing your best white shirt or fave clothes, then think again, especially if you are a holder of a Slime Seat ticket and have access to the SLIME PIT! If you are in the SLIME PIT area, it will get pretty messy, so it’s a good idea to bring a change of clothes and a spare towel for the trip home. However please note that there are no changing rooms inside the venue, and therefore any change of clothes must occur outside of the venue in the designated cloakrooms. Showers will be provided in these cloakroom to help wash off the green goo.
ARE THERE CLOAKROOM FACILITIES TO KEEP OUR STUFF SLIME FREE?
Cloakrooms are available outside the venue for your to wash off the green goo after the show. Please note, however, that there are no storage facilities for your to store your dry clothes during the show. These will need to be secured and kept safe by your accompanying adult / guardian.
- Firstly the SLIME is safe however you’d be crazy if you tried to eat it BUT IF YOU REALLY WANT TO YOU CAN.
- If you are in the SLIME PIT you will almost certainly be Slimed.
- Seated Tickets are in a SLIME free zone. Please do be aware that regardless of where you are seated, all attendees may receive incidental brushes with SLIME as we cannot guarantee where the SLIME may land!
- No throwing SLIME.
- The SLIME is very slippery so no pushing or intentional sliding in SLIME.
- The SLIME stays in the SLIME PIT. The audience is not permitted to flick or throw any SLIME on stage or at other audience members. If you are caught doing this you may be asked to leave the SLIME PIT and the arena.
- No climbing on or over the barrier surrounding the SLIME PIT as this will be slippery and dangerous. If you want to leave then ask a member of staff in the SLIME PIT and they will help you get cleaned up.
- Lastly, have fun.

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT TICKET OPTIONS?
Slime Seats: Slime seats are available to attendees 8 – 15 years with the correlating tickets. The best seats available will be allocated at the time of purchase based on your online selection.
Seated ticket holders will not be slimed but you may receive incidental brushes with SLIME as we cannot guarantee where it will land.
Slime seats will allow kids between the ages of 8 – 15 access to the SLIME PIT.
No seating is available in the SLIME PIT – this is a parent-free, standing zone. Please note that kids in this area will be expected to stand for the entire approximate 90 minute experience.
Those with SLIME PIT access will likely get very messy.
Kids with SLIME PIT access will be required to wear a wristband with their parent or guardian’s mobile number for security reasons.
Bleacher Seat Tickets: These are seats with an elevated view of the stage and SLIME PIT. Bleacher seats are available to kids of all ages.
Platform Seat Tickets: These are seats with an elevated view of the stage and SLIME PIT seated in front on the bleacher seats. Platform seats are available to kids of all ages.
Platform Restricted Seat Tickets: These are seats with a restricted view of the stage and SLIME PIT. They are located behind the Platform Seat Tickets. Platform restricted seats are available to kids of all ages
WILL CHILDREN BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE SLIME PIT TO GO TO THE TOILET OR SEE THEIR PARENTS OR GUARDIANS IN THE SEATED AREA?
Children will be allowed to go to the toilet only if escorted by an adult chaperone. Children will not be allowed in the seating area to see their parent or guardian unless they have purchased a seat in this area.
WHAT IF MY CHILD IS UNCOMFORTABLE AND WANTS TO LEAVE THE SLIME PIT AREA?
The SLIME PIT area will be directly in front of the stage and the centre of all of the NickFest Live action, however, we understand that some children may become tired or overwhelmed in the SLIME PIT and wish to leave. Children will be able to leave the SLIME PIT and enter the holding area before being assisted to their parents or guardian.
WHEN WILL I BE REUNITED WITH MY CHILD WHO HAS A SLIME PIT TICKET?
Parents or guardians will be reunited with their child in holding area. They will be required to wait until their parent or guardian returns to collect them.
IS THERE A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EACH SHOW?
The NickFest Live experience starts the moment you enter The Ticketpro Dome and will feature hosted games, slimings and music before the music acts and star guests come on stage. Filled with SLIME, MUSIC and MAYHEM you do not want to miss it!
WHAT DOES MY TICKET INCLUDE?
Your ticket will give you access to the venue for show time you have selected and purchased. Reminder that doors open 60 minutes prior to the indicated start time on your ticket. Seating will be as per your designated, assigned seat as indicated on the ticket. By purchasing a Slime Seat Ticket, you will be allowed access to the SLIME PIT. As a reminder, the SLIME PIT is a parent-free zone and only accessible to children ages 8 – 15.
WHAT TICKETS DO I NEED TO BRING?
You need to bring your printed ticket to The Ticketpro Dome to gain entry.
WHEN CAN I ENTER THE NICKEFEST VENUE?
Doors will open 60 minutes prior to each performance.
Please check the date and time of the show for which you have purchased tickets.
You will be able to purchase beverages, snacks and most importantly, merchandise ahead of the performance.
LATE ENTRY POLICY:
Last entry will be 15 minutes before official start time of the event.
WHEN WILL THE SHOW FINISH?
The experience will last approximately 90 minutes from the advertised start time and include performances, warm-up acts and on-stage managed exit from the arena. The 90-minute experience does not constitute 90 minutes of non-stop performances from participating acts.
IS THERE A BREAK?
No, the show will run straight through.
IS THERE A MEET & GREET?
A dedicated meet and greet area has been allocated for meet and greet ticket holders. These will be limited and available for purchase in June.
CAN WE BRING FOOD AND DRINK INTO THE SHOW?
You cannot bring any food or drink into The Ticketpro Dome. There is food and drink available to purchase inside the venue from dedicated food stalls.
WILL I BE FILMED?
Nickelodeon’s cameras will be on the ground at the event filming official content for our TV channel, website and social media. Feel free to join in on the action with your own photos and videos on social media. The official TV broadcast of NICKEFEST 2019 will be filmed at all shows.
Official merchandise will be on sale at each show. Please allow yourself sufficient time ahead of the show for which you have purchased a ticket. Doors open 60 minutes prior to each show.
WHAT IS SLIME MADE FROM?
The recipe for SLIME is TOP SECRET so we can’t tell you that. SLIME is completely safe but you’d be crazy if you tried to eat it.
CAN I PARK AT THE VENUE?
Paid parking is available at The Ticketpro Dome.
ARE TICKETS REFUNDABLE?
All tickets purchased are strictly non-refundable.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS
Nickelodeon’s NICKFEST is a child and family-focused event. We do everything we can to ensure an amazing experience for all of our guests, with safety being our number one priority. Our dedicated team are positioned at NickFest Live access points to ensure all children are 100% supervised no matter where they are standing. NickFest Live gives children and families a once-in-a-lifetime experience they will treasure forever! We recommend towels and a change of clothes for the trip home, along with some plastic bags to take SLIME-drenched items home in.
