• The FIFA 2026 World Cup qualifiers in Africa creates an opportunity for the 1st time that 9 countries
  will qualify out of CAF
• The qualifying structure is such that all 54 African nations will play all qualifiers until the last
  weekend in 2025 where 9 groups of 6 nations compete.
• Group C pits Southern African teams (COSAFA members) where South Africa, Zimbabwe & Lesotho
  face Nigeria, Rwanda and Benin in 6 nations group
• After Match-Day one and two (MD1-2) Rwanda tops the group ahead of South Africa and Nigeria
• Match-Day 3 & 4 presents an opportunity for other nations to make up lost ground and the fixtures
  are exciting for Southern Africa where Zimbabwe hosts Lesotho, then South Africa hosts Zimbabwe
