The Telkom Knockout 2019 FINAL

Football knockout competition which comprises of the 16 teams in the South African Premier Soccer League.

In all matches there has to be a winner on the day, this will be decided if there is a winner after full-time (90 minutes). If teams are tied at full-time then extra time will be played, penalties will decide the winner if the scores are still even.

- Sharp metal objects

- Explosives

- Tear gas, mace or similar airborne chemical agents

- Narcotics

- Banners of flags with either vulgar, racists, sexist, discriminatory of offensive content.

- Ambush marketing items.

- Animals

- Liquor

- Drunkenness and undesirable behaviour,

- Dangerous weapons including knifes and sticks.

- Unauthorized Cameras.

- Recycling of accreditation

In order to ensure your safety and comfort at this venue, please take note of the following prohibited and restricted items: these may NOT be brought into the stadium grounds.


  • All dangerous weapons, firearms, ammunition, weapons, knives, nunchaku sticks, baseball bats,sharp objects and traditional weapons
  • Stainless Steel utensils ( knives, forks, metal cups, etc.)
  • Fireworks, explosives, flares, flammable and incendiary items

  • Cool drinks and other non-alcoholic beverages (except water in soft collapsible, non-branded plastic containers)

  • Banners, flags expect if limited to 1.5 x 1.0m (wording to be tasteful, non-offensive, non-political, non-racial, non-discriminatory, non-sexual, non-advertising)
  • Old South African flag
  • Any signs or items with corporate branding (other than official sponsor/vendors)
  • Any mass branded clothing or items which constitute ambush marketing
  • Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, in-line skates, prams
  • Video cameras and non-accredited media equipment (except compact cameras with small built in flash)
  • Air horns, nuisance items/equipment, trumpets, musical instruments, lazers and lights (except plastic Vuvuzela)
  • Cans, glass bottles, hard/rigid containers (except small ladies perfumes and spectacle cases)
  • Mace, gas containers including but not limited to deodorant, cooking spray and paint
  • Chemicals and dry ice
  • TV's, radios, DVD/CD and tape players
  • Braai equipment,skottels,portable braais, gas braais and food reheating equipment
  • Cool boxes including hard and soft cool boxes
  • Deck chairs, umbrellas and gazebos
